Welcome

The Southeast Iowa Building and Construction Trades Council charter dates back to February 20th, 1959 as the association of local construction trades and has been serving the Southeast Iowa area since that time by promoting professional construction jobs in our communities. The SEIBCTC jurisdiction covers 5 counties in Southeast Iowa: Louisa, Des Moines, Lee, Henry, and Washington Counties.

Our Goals

Our goal as the Southeast Iowa Building Trades is to work with public bodies, developers and contractors to promote an alliance that ensures local workers are used in the construction of projects throughout our area. This kind of alliance is what helps to preserve good paying, skilled, local jobs so that the next generation of workers can continue to provide for their families and be an asset to our communities.

Developers

Are you developer or business considering remodeling or construction a new facility, contact us about how you can make your project truly have an impact in the local community.

City & State Municipalities

Or are you a public body that is concerned with how you can ensure the local tax dollars are spent responsibly and used to create jobs for local workers, contact us and let us show you how.

Contractors

Maybe you’re a contractor in the Southeast area that would like to join the alliance and be involved in promoting and practicing responsible contracting in our communities, if so contact us.
